The Pauanui
Lakes Resort golf course has received such high recognition
for its
quality, course design, layout, and playing surfaces that it has
been accepted into the prestigious International Marketing and
Promotional group called The Best of Golf New Zealand. Lakes Resort
now stands alongside Kauri Cliffs, Cape Kidnappers, Terrace Downs,

This 100 hectare tract borders protected conservation
areas and embraces 20 hectares of natural wetlands.
Ten and a half kilometres of cart paths meander through the course

The Whangamata Golf Club
The
Whanagamata Golf Club has two excellent
courses just 20 minutes drive from The Hill Cottages.
Located near
the beautiful white sand beach resort of Whangamata, the magnificently
groomed and challenging Titoki 18 hole course and, for the casual
or less experienced golfer, the Williamson 9 hole course.
Titoki
has modern clubrooms with bar and catering facilities and a well
stocked golf shop.
The best days for casual green fee players are Monday, Thursday and
Friday when there are usually no organised club days.
Green fees NZD 50.00 (approximately USD 33.00). Bookings can be made
at the Golf Shop, telephone 07 865 8479 Titoki or
07 865 8815 for Nine hole Williamson Course. Hire clubs and trundlers
are available at both courses. |

The Pauanui Golf Club
For a quick and enjoyable game on a less demanding,
less expensive golf course, try out the great course operated by
the Pauanui Sports and Recreation Club. This course is divided
into two 9 hole gems. "The Pines" and "The Lakes" provide
golfers with superb fairways and immaculately groomed greens throughout
