After crossing the one lane bridge just before the small town of Kopu, take a right turn towards Paeroa and Hikuai. A short distance (1 Km) later, the left turn to Hikuai is signposted. A scenic drive of 25 Km through beautiful New Zealand native bush will take approximately 20-25 minutes before coming to the right turn at Prescotts garage in to Hikuai Settlement Road.
