The Hill is located on the East coast of the North Island of New Zealand and the Coromandel Peninsula. Just 5 km from the sunny beach of Pauanui township, the Hill is just 1 hour and 55 minutes drive from downtown Auckland.

From Auckland, go down the Southern Motorway towards Hamilton. Turn left on to State highway 25 and follow sign posts towards Coromandel Peninsula and Thames. About 1 hr 10 minutes from downtown Auckland is a single lane bridge just before the small townships of Kopu and Thames. Turn right at Kopu ... Nearly there!

After crossing the one lane bridge just before the small town of Kopu, take a right turn towards Paeroa and Hikuai. A short distance (1 Km) later, the left turn to Hikuai is signposted. A scenic drive of 25 Km through beautiful New Zealand native bush will take approximately 20-25 minutes before coming to the right turn at Prescott's garage in to Hikuai Settlement Road.

13 Km (8.0 miles) before reaching Tairua is Prescotts garage. Take a right turn in to Hikuai Settlement Road and continue on for 5.1 Km (3.2 miles) towards Pauanui Beach.
