At Dive Tairua we offer scuba dive excursions to the fabled Alderman Islands, which are only a 20 minute journey from our headquarters. As well as providing passage out to the dive sites we also supply refreshments and hire out all the quality scuba dive kit required.
You must be PADI qualified to scuba dive with us. If you do not have the necessary PADI qualifications do not worry as Dive Tairua is a PADI centre and offers the scuba diving courses needed to get you safely scuba diving. We are also happy to take out snorkellers or sightseers if you would like to bring some friends along.
Tairua is a wonderful holiday spot with plenty of local accommodation, galleries, clothes shops, cafe, restaurants and bars.
So at Dive Tairua we can also supply alternative activities for family members not going on a diving trip or for the Scuba diver that would like to try something new. We have a full range of water sports gear for hire, kayaks for a cruisey paddle in our beautiful harbour and also charter boats for fishing trips.

Fishing Charter.
We have "Island Cat" an 8 metre stable Noosa Cat, set up for 1/2 or full day Personalized Fishing Adventures around the Beautiful Eastern Coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, Aldermen Islands or both. All there is to do is sight see, relax and catch that fish or four?
Sight Seeing or Snorkeling.
Jump on board one of our charters for a fun day of Sight Seeing or Snorkeling, soaking up the fresh sea air. There is plenty of amazing wild life out there to be seen, Dusky Dolphins dancing along the Cats side or colourful Flying fish, darting around above the calm blue waters and that is without getting your feet wet! To beneath the waters surface gentle giant Sting Rays gracefully passing by with countless Fish all colours and sizes. What a hard life!!
Diving Charters
We have Scuba Diver a 7.2metre Purpose built Lasercraft and our Island Cat wanting to take you on an amazing underwater adventure. We have Dive packages for everyone, from first timers to Dive Enthusiasts. The Pristine Waters of the Alderman Islands offer some of the best diving locations in the World, be it Cave Diving, Cray Hunting, Wreck Exploring to Playing in the kelp. The Aldermans can waken your senses.
We also run PADI Accredited Dive Courses. Our next one Open Water will be held on the 20th January 2009. So be quick as places are filling up fast!
We offer small groups Personalized Dive Courses, On the last two days Tony will be taking you out to the Pristine Aldermen Islands were you will encounter blue water and loads of fish life.
